headshot2My name is Christy Wynne and I am a certified health coach and fitness trainer from St. Louis, MO. I created Inspire Fitness in 2008 after breaking away from the corporate world. It was the best decision I ever made!

I’ve always had a passion for exercise and started exercising at age 12 with my mom at her gym. That started my love for working out. It just makes you feel good when you feel strong. It is my daily natural mood booster!

In 2003, I lost my Dad to heart disease and became even more passionate about my health. I began learning more and more about proper nutrition and realized how many diseases and ailments we can prevent through proper nutrition and exercise. When you are taking care of your body properly, you just feel energized and good!

My husband Jeff shares the same passion for living a healthy life and encouraged me to leave the corporate world to pursue my dream of helping others get healthier.  We now have two amazing children. It has been fun teaching them about health & nutrition. Kids are so curious so it is a great time for them to learn about what foods help their body and which ones can hurt it.

I renamed the company to Inspire Wellness STL because I love helping people with all aspects of their health. I believe when you are healthy, you are happy and it leads to a more fulfilling life. Live your best life!

Hi Christy, What do you have for an old crone vegetarian that hopes to go gluten free on April 1st, mostly for Wolf’s sake? You and Jeff make really extra cute babies, it must be the food you eat and healthy living. TATA, JO

Jo, I would definitely recommend the pomegranate kale salad (its my favorite) and some of the quinoa recipes under lunch recipes. All the recipes are gluten free. They are mostly meatless although some of the dinner recipes do have ground turkey or salmon. Thanks for visiting the blog!
