- 1/2 cup salted natural almond butter (smooth or crunchy)
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 1 tablespoons coconut flour
- 1/2 cup Enjoy life dairy free chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
DIRECTIONS
In a medium bowl, combine the almond butter, maple syrup and coconut flour. Mix very well, until a uniform batter is formed. Put in the refrigerator to firm it up.
Use a spoon to scoop the batter and roll into 12 balls and arrange in a container on parchment paper. Place in the freezer to set.
While the almond butter are setting in the freezer, melt the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil together in the microwave until chips are melted.
Remove the balls from freezer, dunk each one into the melted chocolate and using two spoons, pass back and forth making sure they are completely coated. Return the chocolate covered pieces to the parchment paper, and spoon any additional chocolate over the tops for a thicker chocolate coating. Freeze for at least 10 more minutes before serving. Store in freezer or refridgerator.
