We've only got one body, so let's treat it right. Let's listen to what it needs and tackle any issues before they become bigger issues. So many of us get joint and muscular aches and pains.
Here are some of my top tips for feeling good!
1-Foam Roller! Yes it hurts but it works. Anytime I have an achy back, rolling does the trick. I have a great foam rolling video to guide you through.
2-Stretching/Yoga. There are many good videos on YouTube. The power of stretch is amazing. We just have to take time for it. So, make it a priority to dedicate time for this at least 3 times a week.
3-Epsom Salts are amazing for healing the body's aches and pains. Try a warm foot bath with Epsom salts and soak for 20 minutes. Even just soaking your feet is beneficial to your entire body.
4-Treat yourself to a massage and think of it as part of the maintenance to feeling good! This is especially important if you are active.
5-Make sure to stay up-to-date with your tennis shoes. Supportive shoes are key to your body feeling good. Tennis shoes typically last 3-6 months if you are using them daily.
6-Collagen! Try Inspire Wellness Collagen and commit to at least 60 days of daily use. We naturally deplete collagen starting at age 30. Supplementing your diet with collagen will help keep your joints lubricated and your bones strong. Collagen has other benefits including hair health, skin health and gut health. And is an easy way to add more protein into your diet.
Bottom line, if things are bothering you, don't let it go. Try something! It is not going to get better on its' own. Start with these above items and see if it helps.
