  • Prioritize sleep: Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep each night. This allows your brain to consolidate memories and recharge for peak performance.
  • Manage stress: Chronic stress can cloud your thinking. Explore relaxation techniques like meditation or deep breathing to keep stress in check. I love lavender essential oil for calming my breath.
  • Stay hydrated: Dehydration can impact cognitive function. Keep a reusable water bottle with you and sip throughout the day.
  • Nourish your brain: Eat a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, healthy fats and whole grains. Omega-3 fatty acids are especially good for brain health. My favorite foods high in omega-3 are wild/responsibly caught salmon, ground flaxseed, pasture-raised eggs. These foods provide essential nutrients to keep your brain sharp.
  • Exercise regularly: Physical activity increases blood flow to the brain, which can boost focus and memory.
  • Challenge your brain: Keep your mind active with puzzles, games, or learning a new skill. 
  • Limit screen time: The constant stimulation from screens can contribute to mental fatigue. Take breaks and disconnect throughout the day.

Remember, brain fog is a common experience, but it doesn't have to hold you back. By making some adjustments to your daily routine, you can clear the fog and get your thinking back on track.
