I know its a struggle with kids and finding stuff the whole family likes! Trust me, it gets better over time! My advice is to keep making some favorites but slowly introduce some new things and encouraging kids to try at least a bite. Their taste buds are constantly changing. We called it a "polite bite". Each year on your kids birthday, tell them they need to find new foods they like. For example, turning 6 and its time to find 6 new foods they enjoy.
Other ways to get your kids excited about new foods is to have them help you pick out a recipe to try, grocery shop and help you cook it.
Lastly, I love a buffet! You can have multiple options for all the tastebuds of the house!
These meals are gluten-free and mostly dairy free too!
Here is my kids top 10 Dinners I make (in no particular order):
1- Taco Bar Night or Chicken Taco Bowls (simmer sauce in Crockpot) + taco bar + cilantro/lime rice (cooked rice + fresh lime juice + chopped cilantro + ground cumin + salt)
2- Chicken Meatballs (Trader Joes) + Banza Noodles + Marinara Sauce (add broccoli or salad)
3- Best Grilled Chicken + Ceasar Salad + Proper Fries (so good and only 2 ingredients)
4- Homemade Chicken Nuggets (time consuming but good to make a big batch for lunch leftovers)
5-Beef (or Ground Turkey) Teriyaki Bowls
7-Coconut Curry Stirfry (with chicken or shrimp)
8- Turkey Potato Soup (I have made this way more times than I can count!)
9- 5 Minute Shrimp (usually pair with mashed or roasted potatoes + a veggie)
10-Quick and Easy Salmon (just add salt, pepper and bake 400 for 10-12 minutes) + sweet potatoes (in slow cooker) + a veggie
11- Kevin's BBQ Chicken + Rice or Cauliflower Rice (Had to add this one in too...a quick option and easy to keep these on hand for busy nights.) We also love the Coconut Curry flavor.
